The "Sanvit" Sanatorium holds it's own Health Rehabilitation Establishment for Persons with motion organ diseases and disfunction.

The Establishment has at it's disposal rooms for individual and group curative gymnastics (kinesthesiotherapy), as well as a pool for curative exercises in water, in which also recreation fixtures are carried out.

The patients can also enjoy brine inhalations and kryotherapy.

 
Moreover a wide range of physical treatments to prepare patients for kinesthesiotherapy, or to complete it is carried-out. These are treatments belonging to the range of balneotherapy (brine, peat and pearl baths, under-water and rotational massages), manual classic and special massages, as well as physiotheraupetic treatments (galvanizations stimulations, diadynamic and interferencial currents, diathermics, laserotherapy and magnetotherapy).
 

The effectiveness of curative treatments used and of the improvement program as proposed depends first of all upon a correct physician's diagnosis and upon a professional appreciation of the current state of the patient's health. That is why the Medical Section of our Sanatorium employs specialist physicians (an orthopedic reestablishment specialist, a specialistic reheunatologist) of many years' experience in motion organ disease and health resort therapeutical problematics. 

The effort of physicians is aided by a 18-persons' team of qualified medical employees including motion organ reestablishment specialists, a psychologist, a dietetician, certificated nurses, physiotherapy technicians and masseurs.
A specialist in internal medicine is supervising the general health state of patients and guests abiding in the Sanatorium.

In the Feeding Section a dietetic dispensary along with a healthy feeding laboratory is led to enable a dietetic treatment (overweight, diabetes, stomach and liver diseases) as well as for recognition of preventive feeding principles.

 
The main medical profile the "Sanvit" Sanatorium are motion organ diseases of orthopedic, rheumatologic and neurologic origin, and especially:
- rheumatoidal articulation inflammations
- articulation and vertebral column degenerative diseases
- vertebral column pain syndromes 
Moreover the Sanatorium treats protracted upper respiratory tract and alimentary system diseases, and also rehabilitates patients with congenital and acquired posture faults. 
 

Our guests are lodged in one- and two- person rooms arranged in a segment system with a full W.C.- and bathroom equipment.

The sanatorium complex is situated on a picturesque hill within one of the most beautiful polish health resorts. The full own treatment base, a big warm water pool used as well as a treatment as a recreation installation, and adaptation of objects for requirements of disabled persons brings about, that the Sanatorium is one of the best equipped health resort objects in Iwonicz.

 
In the nearest neighbourhood there is an illuminated ski-lift. 
The Sanatorium is organizing wee-kend, weekly and full sanatorium sojourns as well as studying courses and conferences.
 

 
Iwonicz Zdrój is a beautiful quiet, old health resort - ideal for guests fatigued by the city turmoil and smog. The absence of industrial installations and use of natural gas for heating purposes brings about, that the air here is the clearest one of all health resorts throughout the country. It's bioclimatic advantages are moreover improved by a high afforestation degree of the area. In treatment of patients abiding here, natural healing water springs, as well as healing peat, and climatotherapy are used. Iwonicz Zdrój is at the same time a perfect excursion base into the Bieszczady-Mountains, Beskid Niski-Mountains and to Slovakia.
